Teaching children the self-sustaining life tools that allow them to respectfully connect with the earth is one of the most rewarding parts of being an organic farmer.
Watching a student’s face light up when they harvest their own vegetables or hold their first baby chick is absolutely priceless.
Spirit Grower has taught many after school class for the Talbot County school system and often runs educational tours for the community. In addition to farm-to-table events and other community involvement, we can always be found at the St. Michaels Farmer’s Market on Saturdays.
